Four Seasons Resort and Residences Deer Valley

Four Seasons and developer Extell are building a ski-in/ski-out resort and residences at the base of Deer Valley's new East Village, due to open in 2028 alongside four other hotel brands rising in the same purpose-built ski district.

The place

The resort sits at the base of Deer Valley Resort's East Village, a new ski-in/ski-out district built alongside the mountain's terrain expansion in Park City, Utah, roughly 45 minutes from Salt Lake City International Airport. It is one of five hotels planned for the district, alongside a Grand Hyatt that opened in winter 2024-25, a Hilton Canopy due in summer 2026, and a Waldorf Astoria targeted for 2028 as a separate project.

The concept

Four Seasons and Extell Development Company announced the project in 2024 as part of Deer Valley's East Village, billed as the first ground-up luxury ski village built in North America in over four decades. Extell secured a $600 million construction loan in July 2025 and broke ground the same year. The resort combines 134 guestrooms and suites with 123 Four Seasons-branded private residences in one- to six-bedroom layouts, all with direct ski access — positioning it as a full-scale mountain compound rather than a standalone hotel, aimed at the same ultra-affluent ski-and-second-home buyer Four Seasons courts in Telluride, where it announced a second Rocky Mountain destination in the same cycle.

Dining & wellness

Four dining venues are planned, including a ski-in/ski-out lounge with an outdoor terrace and fireplace for après-ski. Wellness facilities include saunas, steam rooms, whirlpools and spa treatments shared between hotel guests and residence owners.
