Four Points Flex by Sheraton Brighton
The seafront's long-running Kings Hotel re-emerges under Marriott's newest badge, same three Regency mansions, seven-figure refresh underneath.
Open · March 2026
Four Points Flex by Sheraton Brighton opened in March 2026 inside three Regency mansions on the seafront that spent years trading as the independent Kings Hotel. A seven-figure refurbishment of all 95 rooms, started in April 2025 under owners Lowy Group and Ciel Capital, preceded the switch to Marriott's newest, most streamlined brand.

The place
The hotel sits directly on Brighton's seafront, towards the Hove end of the promenade, a short walk from Brighton Centre and the pier but a step removed from the density of the main entertainment strip. It's the kind of address that has anchored a hotel on this exact stretch of coast for decades, sea views from many of the upper-floor rooms and easy access to both the beach and the city centre on foot.
The concept
This isn't a new hotel so much as a well-known one under new management. Until its March 2026 relaunch, the building traded for years as the independent Kings Hotel, a trio of connected Regency mansions typical of Brighton's seafront terraces. Lowy Group and Ciel Capital, the owners, put the property through a seven-figure refurbishment that began in April 2025, touching all 95 rooms plus reception, bar and restaurant, before handing operations to Marriott under the Four Points Flex by Sheraton flag, with a formal launch event on 5 March 2026. Four Points Flex is Marriott's newest and leanest brand, a conversion-focused answer to Hilton's Spark and IHG's Garner: dependable, efficiently run select-service hotels built by bringing existing independent properties into the Marriott Bonvoy system rather than constructing from scratch. It trades some of the loyalty perks of Marriott's fuller-service brands for a lower price point and a faster path to market.
Dining & wellness
The reopened hotel has an à la carte restaurant serving British cuisine with sea views, plus a lounge bar. Guest-room refurbishments added new Smart TVs, WiFi throughout, upgraded IT infrastructure and refreshed furnishings; the property also takes dogs.
