The place

Visitors Circle is in the International Drive resort area, close to Universal Orlando, SeaWorld and Walt Disney World. The Orange County Convention Center is described by the brand as just minutes away.

The concept

Choice Hotels announced the opening on 18 May 2023. Mark Shalala, senior vice president for upscale development at the company, called the location an ideal place to expand Cambria's upscale offering.

The brand's design leans on locally inspired decor rather than a standard chain look. Rooms have design-led fixtures, plenty of light, plush bedding and Bluetooth mirrors.

There is 3,650 square feet of flexible event space, including an 800 square foot meeting room, plus a fitness center and a business center.

Dining & wellness

Two restaurants serve food made on site, with local craft beer, wine and cocktails, and takeaway options. Veer Kitchen and Bar covers breakfast through dinner. Ka Lā Rooftop Lounge serves an American-Mediterranean menu around the rooftop pool, which has a 360-degree view of the city.

Some third-party listings name a different on-site restaurant, so the dining line-up may have changed since opening.

I had a wonderful experience staying at this hotel! The staff were very friendly and welcoming, especially Tuba at the front desk. She was incredibly kind, helpful, and professional, and she made me feel comfortable from the moment I arrived. Her friendly attitude really stood out and made my stay even better. Shay made my experience amazing! If it wasn’t for her excellent customer service then my review would be competent different. I stayed for 4 nights and her smile, genuine eagerness to help, and kindness went a long way for my experience. She was on night duty during my stay this week but I always appreciate her thoughtfulness to help me and my concerns that arose during my stay. When I let her know of my phobia and things I needed in my room to help she did not judge me, was kind and understanding, and thought of ideas to help me feel secure in my nights stay.

THE FOOD AT THE RESTAURANT WAS GOOD - The entrance is immaculate to the hotel, how ever the elevator and the floor u live on (I stayed on 4th floor) smelled of pet piss it’s a horrible smell The rooms were horrible they are small and basic. And smelly as well The bathroom is tiny and shower is filthy The shower door doesn’t close all the way so water gets on the floor They have an old ac unit installed in the wall and not central Ac/heat I do not recommend this stay for new comers it’s over rated and Franchised this is not up to the CAMBRIA STANDARDS (I forgot to get photos) You can’t take a photo of a smell either also the bed is good sheets are worn out and pillows are too soft I have had a crook in my neck for the two day stay me and my family was about to leave we didn’t want to waste money

Lobby area was modern and upscale. The entire lobby was very inviting. The room was pretty nice. The only issue was that the shower head was not firmly in the holder and we had to rig it to force it to stay in place and there is also no area to place your shower toiletries. Location is excellent! We were in a great area with several outlet centers and retail stores. The proximity to Universal Studios and their other parks was very convenient to the location of the hotel. The worst thing IMO, about the hotel is the parking. There is very limited parking. You receive a parking pass to place in your windshield, but that doesn’t matter if people are coming in to visit the restaurant or the rooftop bar. It’s really kinda unfair that people who come to visit the bar or restaurant takeover all of the parking spaces for those who have paid to stay at the hotel. We were forced to park in a lot down the street from the hotel, because those who were there visiting the restaurant and bar had their cars “valeted” in the spots that people who had paid to stay there should’ve been able to park in. It’s really a inconvenience. Other than that, the hotel is pretty nice.

I stayed here for a work conference. Location is great! Staff were nice and friendly in all areas. I had a great custumer service interaction at coffee shop with employee name Leticia. She was friendly bright and early. She walked me through the Iced coffee options. She also engaged with me about my visit and gave me great information about Orlando. Leticia is an employee that makes customers feel welcome and appreciated. I recommend this coffee shop for that reason.
