The service at this hotel is absolutely outstanding. The staff are incredibly friendly, welcoming, and open-minded. They are always ready to help, go the extra mile to make your stay enjoyable, and provide excellent recommendations for local attractions, restaurants, and activities. Their genuine hospitality truly makes all the difference.

Stayed here for four nights on a last minute trip with my young son. Overall our stay was really lovely, lots of positives that mean we would certainly return. Special thank you to Abraham on the front desk he was a refreshing breath of fresh air, he really went out of his way to go above and beyond with the level of his service and my son took a shining to his lovely personality. We had booked a Junior suite on the 7th floor but unfortunately on the second day we had to change rooms due to a non working mini fridge and significant noise levels from the carriageway at the front. We switched to a interconnecing family room which was at the back but so much quieter, although you could sometimes hear clunking from the lift. The hotel was very clean and presentable but very basic with its furnishings and amenities there is no extra bathroom items such as shower cap or earbuds etc which you would expect for a four star. The spa is absolutely wonderful, so clean and a great complimentary addition, we loved this. There is also a water cooler in there. Breakfast unfortunately avoid, lacking in quality and variety and we couldn't eat here again. They do have a costa machine which was a bonus however.

Location is good very close to the airport, I think couple of stops by tram from the airport and about 15-20 minutes by tram to the city center. Size of the room is alright not big not small. Breakfast is expensive: If you are on a budget than there is a coop couple of blocks from the hotel from where you could get delicious options to eat and have a nice coffee. If you arrive on a Sunday than there is a cafe across from coop where you could have your breakfast. Staff is helpful and wonderful special Thanks to Mr Abraham. There is a Hammam on site which I did not get a chance to use probably because of the timings of the facility. Overall very clean, safe and a nice hotel.

Such great value for Geneva, honestly one of the best we found. The staff were all really friendly and helpful, which made a big difference. The hotel itself was super clean, and everything felt really easy and comfortable. Loved the extras too. Free use of pool tables, free access to the sauna and gym, which was such a bonus after long days out. Location was perfect with easy access to everything, and the free travel card included made getting around so simple. Would definitely stay again if ever in Geneva!

I stayed at the IntercityHotel Geneva twice in April (for one night, and then a three-night stay a week later), and my experience was incredibly disappointing, mainly due to a shocking privacy breach and completely cowardly management. First, the room maintenance is poor. During both stays, the mini-fridges in my initial rooms were completely broken, requiring room changes. Room amenities were also inconsistent (cheap paper/plastic cups during one stay, glass the next). Staff training is very hit-or-miss: my first receptionist was great and gave me the complimentary Geneva transport pass, but the second time, the staff explained nothing and I had to explicitly ask for the pass. However, the most unacceptable incident happened on April 20th around 9:00 PM. Even though I had deadbolted my door, a staff member knocked three times and immediately swiped their master key to enter my room. I had to shout at them to get them to close the door, and I had to chase them out into the hallway just to get an apology. The front desk later blamed it on a "system error" misregistering my room number. The way management handled this massive security and privacy failure was a joke. I informed them I was checking out at 9 AM the next day for a flight. The front desk promised the manager would contact me before then. They didn't. I left my UK phone number and email at checkout, and they promised again the manager would reach out. Nothing. I finally called the hotel myself that afternoon, only to be casually told the manager "came and went" without bothering to call me. I had to threaten legal action just to get them to take it seriously. Instead of apologizing to me directly, the management hid behind my booking platform (Trip.com) to offer a pathetic 10% refund on the room rate. Trip.com's customer service was actually great and compensated me out of their own pocket, but the hotel's lack of basic crisis management is appalling. The management here clearly doesn't care about severe privacy violations and actively hides from guests when things go wrong. Avoid this place.
