The concept
An adaptive-reuse conversion of a heritage-listed 1930s art deco building, restored in a style the operator describes as evoking 1920s Chicago, into a hotel for the first time. The 77-room property includes premium suites with kitchenettes and, at over 370 square meters, what is marketed as New Zealand's largest hotel penthouse — four ensuite king bedrooms, a lounge and dining area, a full kitchen and a covered barbecue area.
