The concept
Independently developed by KT Urban, The Olin Hotel is a ground-up boutique project rather than a conversion of an existing building. The San Jose Planning Director fully approved the project on August 28, 2024, granting the special use permit and general plan amendment needed for its height. No hotel brand or operator has been named, and no groundbreaking or opening date has been publicly confirmed since approval.
