Hilton's value brand makes its first entry into Wales
Announced · 2026-2028

The concept
Spark by Hilton Cardiff is one of ten hotels covered by a September 2026 agreement between Hilton and AG Hotels Group, adding 672 rooms across England and Wales to Hilton's premium-economy brand, and giving Spark by Hilton its first Welsh address. The brand's format is deliberately stripped back: simple, colourful rooms built around a multi-functional desk and open storage rather than a full-service layout.
Dining & wellness
The standard Spark by Hilton package: free hot breakfast (including bagels, cereal and fruit), free Wi-Fi and free parking, served from communal public spaces rather than a full restaurant.
