Scottsdale Golf Retreat at Troon North

MBA Development Partners and Troon are building a 26-suite golf enclave beside Troon North's Monument and Pinnacle courses in North Scottsdale, aimed at stay-and-play golfers rather than downtown visitors. Originally slated for early 2026, the property's own site now points to an October 2026 grand opening.

The place

The property sits on a 2.7-acre parcel just west of the Troon North clubhouse in North Scottsdale, adjoining the Monument and Pinnacle golf courses — a golf-focused address well outside Old Town, reached by car rather than on foot from downtown.

The concept

Scottsdale-based MBA Development Partners is building eight one- and two-story buildings in a low-density enclave format: 20 four-bedroom, four-bath suites of roughly 1,615 square feet and 6 two-bedroom, two-bath suites of roughly 700 square feet, set into the existing desert topography with native landscaping. Troon, also Scottsdale-based, will handle marketing and management. The project was originally announced for an early-2026 opening; as of mid-2026 the property's own booking site lists a grand opening with stays available starting October 2026, and it should be treated as not yet operating until that date is confirmed on the ground.

Dining & wellness

Planned amenities include a 650-square-foot pool with an inground spa, a centralized guest lounge with a media center, meeting and dining space, an outdoor kitchen with two fire features, and spa-inspired bathrooms with multi-head showers in every suite. Troon North's on-site Dynamite Grille is set to serve as the resort's restaurant, with stay-and-play packages extending to other Troon-managed courses including Eagle Mountain and the Boulders.
