The concept

Built in 1906 as a private manor, the building operated as the Olde English Inn from 1946 until closing in 2010. Developer Aragon Properties acquired the site in 2015 and spent roughly a decade and $25 million restoring it, owner Lenny Moy and designer Karen Wichert reimagining it as Rosemead House. It is the only Canadian entry on Condé Nast Traveller's 2026 Hot List and was named one of Travel + Leisure's 100 Best New Hotels in the World.
