Residence Inn by Marriott Mammoth Lakes

A 101-room Residence Inn by Marriott is under construction at Berner Street and Minaret Road in Mammoth Lakes, opposite The Village at Mammoth, having received its building permit from the town in October 2025. The four-storey condominium hotel will have in-room kitchens, a bar and lounge, an indoor pool and a fitness centre, but neither Marriott nor the developer has announced an opening date.

At the corner of Berner Street and Minaret Road in the North Village, directly across from The Village at Mammoth and its gondola.

The concept

The project is a four-storey, 101-room condominium hotel with two levels of parking built underneath, tracked as an active development by the Town of Mammoth Lakes, which issued the building permit in October 2025. Construction was under way in the spring of 2026. Beyond the permit record and local property reporting there has been no announcement from Marriott or from the developer, and in particular no opening date, which is why this entry carries none: the extended-stay format, with kitchens in the rooms, and the condominium ownership structure are documented, the schedule is not. It would be the second branded hotel to arrive in the village in as many years, after Limelight Mammoth opened a few hundred metres away in December 2025.

Dining & wellness

The approved plans include a bar and lounge area, outdoor patio seating, an indoor pool and a fitness centre. No restaurant concept has been named.
