Had an amazing experience! Staff was super welcoming and friendly! Parking $18 per night and the restaurant Passé had great menu selections! My family stayed in the Capitol suite and had no complaints. Full balcony, 1 king bed and 2 queen beds. Very spacious and comfortable! Would definitely stay here again
EDIT: 🤬 I was told by Corey, via phone conversation that service pets were allowed & they did NOT charge for them.. however I checked my bank statement & was changed an extra $100. I called & was told it was for my pet. I explained what Corey told me. Now, when I call back at them time I was told Corey would be there, he seems to never be available! So unless you want to have hidden charges, don't do it. They will take advantage of you in anyway possible!!!!
The staff was absolutely amazing! You couldn’t ask for better employees. I encountered three different staff members during my stay, and each one went above and beyond to accommodate me.
I stayed in the Tiger Studio Suite and highly recommend it. I also traveled with my fur baby, and even she was happy and comfortable!

Well I hope you have a lot of patience! I booked a handicap room in December of 2025 to come to Baton Rouge to watch the fireworks display downtown from the rooftop viewing area at the Origin Hotel, I was very disappointed on arrival to find there was no valet parking, and the parking lot was a hazard with only I think 10 parking spots it was very difficult for me to unload my luggage due to the ramp at the front of the hotel. The clerk at the front checked us in and I went to the room to discover my room was not handicap accessible!!! After 30 minutes of waiting for an explanation or another room I was told that it was given away the night before. 7 month reservation!!! Confirmed on the 3rd and added a second room to my reservation so additional guest could join me. Think twice before staying here if you have any physical limitations...the restaurant and menu sound good but couldn't experience it because it happened to be closed that Saturday!
We had a small hiccup with the tv in our room. The clerk was exceptional! She moved us quickly and offered bfast for our inconvenience. I can't say enough about her service. She even called back to ensure we were ok.
This was such a disappointing stay. Let me start by saying the hotel had many nice things going for it, a fun vibe, nice rooftop area, great towels and sturdy furniture. However, the front desk staff generally lacked hospitality. I didn’t have hand soap in my room — which appears to be a recurring problem (how?!). When I relayed this to the front desk, I got a shrug and was told to use shower gel. Sorry, but this is a total dealbreaker for me, especially for $200 a night. Hand soap is the most basic of amenities a hotel can provide. My coffeemaker was also broken, which earned me another shrug from front desk staff. No apology, no how can we correct this? Just: too bad. I asked for a water from the fridge to be comped in exchange for these issues and was told no, that would need to be approved by a manager. C’mon. Finally, I’ll say that the windows were so outdated and thin that I could hear every single thing on the streets which made it difficult to sleep. I would have loved to have given this feedback in person upon check out but I wasn’t even asked how my stay was.
