Olympia Resort Abu Dhabi

Modon Hospitality is developing Olympia Resort Abu Dhabi, an active-lifestyle and recovery-focused resort on Hudayriyat Island with altitude-training facilities, hypoxic guest rooms and extensive sports infrastructure. Announced for an early-2026 opening, the resort's own site still listed it as coming soon as of late August 2026.

The concept

Olympia Resort Abu Dhabi is a performance- and recovery-oriented resort developed by Modon Hospitality on Hudayriyat Island, positioned as the region's first hotel built specifically around athletic training and wellness rather than leisure alone. Guest categories include compact 'active' rooms, family hubs, kitchenette studios and suites up to a Presidential Suite with its own massage room; select rooms use hypoxic (altitude-simulation) technology and an in-house 'Olympia Recovery Mattress'. The resort's Reboot Recovery Lounge centres on altitude training and other recovery-science facilities. Guests have access to the island's 28km of cycling tracks, indoor and outdoor football pitches, tennis courts, running tracks, swimming pools and beach-club/water-sports facilities. Modon Hospitality announced the project on 28 October 2025 targeting an early-2026 opening; as of late August 2026 the resort's own website still describes it as 'coming soon' with no confirmed opening date, even though third-party booking sites have begun pre-listing the property.

Dining & wellness

Dining is planned across several venues, including an all-day restaurant, a coffee lounge, a pool bar and a rooftop bar, plus access to a nearby beach club's fine-dining restaurant — exact venue names had not been confirmed by an official source as of this writing.
