The place
The hotel sits at 5141 Business Park Blvd in Midtown Anchorage, about four miles from Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport, with a complimentary shuttle covering the gap. The concept
Opened in May 2017, Hyatt House Anchorage was developed by Seattle-based The Hotel Group as a new-build property and marked the first Hyatt House — and the group's first Hyatt-branded hotel — in Alaska. The 144-room extended-stay hotel targets travelers on longer visits, from oil and gas industry contractors to relocating families and leisure travelers using Anchorage as a base for excursions, with rooms and suites built around full kitchens and separate living areas rather than a standard hotel-room layout.
Dining & wellness
H Bar, the hotel's on-site restaurant and bar, serves locally inspired food alongside shareable appetizers and bistro-style fare. The hotel also includes a complimentary hot breakfast buffet, a heated indoor pool, and a 24-hour fitness room.
