Courtyard by Marriott Midtown Anchorage is a ground-up, 141-room hotel under construction near Ted Stevens International Airport, targeted for a spring 2026 opening. Developer Affinity Hospitality financed the project through a $39 million package that includes $14 million in C-PACER funding, the first new-construction hotel in Alaska built with this clean-energy financing structure. The property will carry Courtyard's latest room design alongside an indoor pool, fitness center and meeting space.

The concept
Developer Affinity Hospitality is building a four-story, ground-up Courtyard financed through a $39 million package from Northrim Bank and Nuveen Green Capital, including $14 million in C-PACER (Commercial Property Assessed Clean Energy and Resilience) financing — the first new-construction project in Alaska to use the program. The C-PACER funds cover energy efficiency, water conservation and seismic-resilience measures, a notable detail for a state with high earthquake frequency, alongside the brand's latest contemporary room design.
