The concept
Developed and operated by Gatlinburg-based Hospitality Solutions, the resort is built around an indoor-outdoor water park — Firefly Cove, with a lazy river, water slide and creekside hot tub — rather than the standalone-hotel format most Embassy Suites use. Three mountain streams run through the property, and 12,800 square feet of meeting space, including a 5,000-square-foot ballroom, target the convention business Gatlinburg's downtown hotels can't easily accommodate.
Dining & wellness
The Roaring Fork serves Appalachian cuisine as the resort's signature restaurant, alongside Firefly Cove's poolside bar and light bites and a Sugarlands Coffee and Cream shop.
