The concept Developed and operated by Gatlinburg-based Hospitality Solutions, the resort is built around an indoor-outdoor water park (Firefly Cove, with a lazy river, water slide and creekside hot tub) rather than the standalone-hotel format most Embassy Suites use. Three mountain streams run through the property, and 12,800 square feet of meeting space, including a 5,000-square-foot ballroom, target the convention business Gatlinburg's downtown hotels can't easily accommodate.
Dining & wellness The Roaring Fork serves Appalachian cuisine as the resort's signature restaurant, alongside Firefly Cove's poolside bar and light bites and a Sugarlands Coffee and Cream shop.
Our take Gatlinburg's hotel stock leans on cabin resorts and downtown motels, so a 164-suite property with its own water park and dedicated convention space is a genuine format change rather than another me-too opening: the bet is on families and meeting groups who'd otherwise drive to Pigeon Forge for the same amenities.

We had one of the best hotel experiences during our trip to the Smokies. The location is excellent and convenient to nearby attractions, while still feeling relaxing and family-friendly.
The property offers fantastic amenities, including both indoor and outdoor pools, water slides, a lazy river, an outdoor hot tub, and plenty of outdoor seating areas with cozy fire pits. It was easy to spend an entire day enjoying the resort itself.
Our room was spacious, clean, well-maintained, and very comfortable. Housekeeping did a great job, and the entire property felt clean and well cared for throughout our stay.
The staff was consistently friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Breakfast was extensive with plenty of options, making it a great start to each day.
Considering the quality of the accommodations, amenities, service, and overall experience, we felt the hotel offered excellent value for money. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay on our first trip to the Smokies and would gladly stay here again.
This hotel is in a great location, close enough to walk to downtown Gatlinburg but far enough that you aren't bothered by the traffic.
The pool area is great, the way it was designed keeps it private from the other hotels nearby. The lazy river was the perfect temperature and the hot tub was big enough that it never felt crowded. The slide would be great for kids. The indoor pool is great if the weather was bad. And the towels were big and fluffy.
The rooms were clean and spacious, the balcony was a great extra space.
The bartender Jade was a delight, not only did she make great drinks but was also able to give us information about the area. The evening reception was really nice but busy most nights. I loved that they had non alcoholic drinks in a self serve area. I don't know what kind of fruit punch they had but it was amazing.
We can't wait to come back.
Got a great deal online for our 4 day 3 night stay. Hot tub was super busy but once we got in, forgot all the rest. Both hot tub and pool were clean, always towels available and staff was super friendly. Indoor pool was available and clean as well. The breakfast was good every morning from 6:30 on. Order an omelet or go to the buffet. Eggs, biscuits and gravy, sausage, bacon, potatoes, waffles, oats and muffins. Choices for drinks too including coffees, teas, Coke products, juices and milk. The room was clean and stocked. I liked the scent of the shampoo, conditioner and lotion. Plenty of towels and bedding, and the safe was very convenient. The staff have bear horns and are trained to keep them away from you and the hotel. We saw 2 at the hotel and 1 in town. Everyone we encountered were helpful and kind. The laundry is on the 3rd floor and you download an app to use it. $3 each for wash and dry. Dryer 2 was awful and it took 2 cycles to dry a half load of clothes. $15 a day parking is included in your stay and taken from your card on file when you check in. We loved this stay and hope this review helps you find it joyful also.
Hotel was really clean, staff was friendly, bed was comfortable, there is a trolley that will take you back-and-forth to the strip. The only thing bad I could say about it Which really isn't a bad thing is there was way too many kids down there And I couldn't really enjoy the pool because there's no deep end. Even though the kids had their own pool they still
Overwhelmed the other pool as well. Other than that, great place even has a place where you can do your laundry.
Excellent hotel and resort! The outside courtyard and pool area are beautiful. Service was very friendly. The breakfast was awesome, although I do wish it was open later than 930a during the week days. Our room was very clean and spacious. The evening reception is a great value and the bartenders were quick, never had to wait very long. Its about a half mile walk down to the strip which was fine for us, but may be a little bit much for some. 100% would stay here again.... we even saw a bear along the creek!
