The place

At 808 M Street in downtown Fresno, directly beside the Fresno Convention & Entertainment Center and across from the Saroyan Theatre — the first full-service hotel built downtown in decades.

The concept

A five-story, 144-room hotel developed by Axis Hotel Group with Klassen Corporation as architect and general contractor, built to give the city's convention and theater district its own full-service hotel rather than leaving visitors to properties near the airport or along Highway 99.

Dining & wellness

The Bistro restaurant and bar, an outdoor courtyard pool, a roughly 4,000-square-foot banquet hall and about 5,000 square feet of meeting space.

News

July 10, 2026Developer Axis Hotel Group confirmed construction remains on track for the announced August 2026 opening: power and internet were installed by early July, with the pool and final Fresno Fire Department approval the only items still outstanding.
