The concept A full remodel of the 1953 Boulder Plaza Apartments and River Parks Lofts building — which also once housed a business school — blending its original brutalist architecture with what the hotel describes as "tropical serenity."
Dining & wellness Rooftop restaurant Soma, Dweller Coffee Cafe, an outdoor pool, a full-service spa and a fitness center.
Our take The brutalist-meets-tropical pairing is a genuinely odd combination on paper, and the fact that it's built around an actual 1953 apartment block rather than a themed new build gives it more credibility than the description alone suggests.

I had a wonderful stay at Brut Hotel and would absolutely stay here again!
The rooms are incredibly spacious, and so are the bathrooms. The air conditioning gets wonderfully cold (which is a huge plus for me), and everything throughout the hotel is easy to access. I also loved all of the greenery. It makes the hotel feel fresh and inviting. The little details really made the stay special. I appreciated the Tulsa guest guide in the room, the city map, and the robes and slippers. Those thoughtful touches made it feel much more upscale and welcoming.
My only two suggestions would be to clean the bathroom exhaust vents, as mine was covered in dust, and to find a way to dim or turn off the minibar light. It’s surprisingly bright and lights up the room at night.
Overall, this is a beautiful, comfortable hotel with thoughtful amenities, and I’d happily stay here again!
The hotel was clean, but the location wasn't ideal. Parking was also a challenge—the lot filled up several times during our stay, and there weren't any convenient nearby parking options.
The room itself was unique. I specifically booked the room with the hammock, which was a fun feature and something I really enjoyed. The room was clean, but it was very basic for the price. The refrigerator comes stocked as a minibar and is locked, so you have to request that it be unlocked if you want to use it. There weren't any complimentary water or snacks, which was disappointing. The bathroom only provided soap, and considering the room rate and the fact that the hotel has an on-site spa, I expected better amenities.
The pool was another disappointment. The online photos make it appear much larger than it actually is. I chose this hotel over the Ambassador specifically because of the pool, so that was frustrating.
I also ate at the poolside taco bar. The chips and guacamole were good, but the tacos lacked flavor, and the service was unfortunately very poor.
Overall, while the hotel was clean and had a few unique touches, I don't feel it delivered the value I expected for the price. I wouldn't choose to stay here again.
We are locals to Brut, so as far as a stay goes no review. Let me tell you about why we love Brut Hotel! From the moment you pull up and step inside, the lush greenery wall and boutique style cafe. Just out the back is the most beautiful courtyard that hosts Artisan Markets and Sundays live music, a heated pool and perfect hang spot for tacos and cocktails. Head back inside and to the rooftop, where you will find SOMA restaurant and outdoor patio that overlooks the river and parts of Tulsa. We love this place as a hang spot, we bring family here when in from out of town. We live here locally and choose Brut as a place to spend time. (You don’t have to stay here to enjoy all they have to offer, although the rooms look inviting!)
Loved the unique style of the rooms, so soothing and cosy. The coffee and the bath robe in the room were a very nice plus. The pool area is great and there is a little coffee shop at the lobby with very good coffee, snacks and drinks.
The Soma restaurant is very beautiful inside but the rooftop was not as special as described in some comments. The restaurant doesn’t have much choice in food but it’s nice to have the possibility to eat in the hotel. Staff is very nice.
A charming boutique hotel in a fantastic location, just minutes from everything Tulsa has to offer. Our room was spacious and comfortable, though the lobby and elevator were quite compact. The rooftop restaurant was a highlight of our stay, offering excellent food, outstanding service, and a wonderful atmosphere.
