For a weekend
Walk Ocean Drive's Art Deco Historic District in the morning before the heat sets in, then spend the afternoon on the sand in front of Lummus Park — Casa Cañita sits directly across the street. In the evening, head a few blocks over to Washington Avenue, the neighborhood's original commercial spine, for The Goodtime Hotel's Strawberry Moon pool club and the block's restaurants and bars.
For a longer stay
With more time, Lincoln Road's pedestrian mall is a short walk north for shopping and dinner, and the causeways connect South Beach to Downtown Miami, Brickell and Wynwood by a short rideshare across the bay.

The Goodtime Hotel opened in April 2021 at 601 Washington Avenue, between 6th and 7th Streets — a landmarked block of Art Deco storefronts that had never operated as a hotel before, developed by David Grutman and Pharrell Williams and now flying Marriott's Tribute Portfolio flag.
Ocean Drive
Casa Cañita opened on 24 April 2026 at 1200 Ocean Drive, at 12th Street, across from the sand and Lummus Park — a 24-room boutique hotel from chef Michelle Bernstein and designer Nicolette Bernstein, anchored by La Cañita restaurant and nightly live music.
Collins Avenue
The Dean Miami is confirmed to open by late 2026 inside the former Gates Hotel South Beach on Collins Avenue at 23rd Street, steps from Lincoln Road — the first US property for Ireland's Dean Group, backed by Lifestyle Hospitality Capital and Elliott Investment Management.
