The Bessborough Hotel, Autograph Collection is the reopening, under a new name, of Saskatoon's landmark 1935 chateau hotel at 601 Spadina Crescent East, built originally by Canadian National Railway with a Châteauesque design in Tyndall stone that earned it the local nickname "the Castle on the River." Long run as Delta Hotels Bessborough, the 225-room property has been closed to guests since May 2026 for new mechanical systems, a redesigned lobby and refreshed rooms (a lobby installation called the Cabinet of Curiosities will display artifacts from the hotel's nine decades of operation) and is targeted to reopen by late 2026 or February 2027 as an independently branded heritage hotel within Marriott Bonvoy rather than a flagged Delta property.

The Willows

Scandvik Hotels & Nordic Spa, a planned 120-room Scandinavian-style wellness hotel, cleared its final municipal zoning approval in September 2025 for a site on the western edge of The Willows golf course, a private golf community on the South Saskatchewan River at the edge of the city. No hotel brand affiliation or construction start date has been confirmed.
