Mathieu founded newhotels.io after building Newtable, a restaurant guide, and Où Bruncher, a guide dedicated to the best brunch spots — two projects built on the same idea: a guide is only as good as the discipline behind what it chooses to include. He now applies that same standard to hotels, working with a network of friends and local contributors around the world to keep every market on the site genuinely well covered.
