The concept A conversion of Boswells, a family-owned department store that had been part of Oxford life since 1738 and was among the world's oldest, delivered by Reef Group and EQ Group with interiors by Urban R. Oxford City Council approved the conversion plans in January 2021.

Best food!
Nicole made our visit truly memorable with her warm, attentive service and genuine hospitality. The fish and chips were absolutely outstanding, and the gin selection was exceptional, making for a wonderful dining experience. Jesus extended heartfelt hospitality and welcomed us as if we were family, which made us feel right at home. Every detail reflected outstanding customer service and a passion for creating an unforgettable experience. We highly recommend this place and look forward to returning on our next visit!
Absolutely amazing experience at the store in Oxford! My first trip there and first stay in the hotel, and it was absolutely perfect. The service was top-notch. From the extremely friendly people at the front desk, who helped me with every detail of the trip, to the extremely helpful bellman who helped me plan my day, the service was just amazing - friendly and helpful! The room was great - a nice size, great windows, beautiful, clean, and nicely furnished. The best part was the location - walking distance to absolutely everything! Highly recommend this hotel.
Exceptional, luxurious hotel. Absolutely loved our stay & look forward to going back. We moved to The Store during a heat wave when our Air B&B proved intolerably hot, but wish we had just stayed at this hotel from the start. Our room was modern, clean, & roomy. It came equipped with everything you could need, including a kettle, coffee machine, iron, safe, & even some free treats. It had a spacious bathroom & amazing AC. The downstairs lobby, bar, & seating area were stylish & welcoming with delicious food & drinks. The staff could not have been nicer or more helpful. The location is right smack in the middle of things & perfect for enjoying all that Oxford has to offer. I could not recommend this hotel more. Yes, it was a lifesaver in a country in which AC is desperately rare, but more than that, it was just lovely & impeccable. We only wish it were closer so we could stay more often!
What an amazing rooftop bar experience! The atmosphere was fantastic, with beautiful view.The drinks were excellent and expertly prepared.
A special shoutout to Varun, who was not only incredibly skilled and professional but also exceptionally charismatic. His friendly attitude, attention to detail, and outstanding service made the experience even more enjoyable. He made everyone feel welcome and ensured we had a great time.

Decor decidedly modern but very comfortable. Location couldn't be better...you can walk pretty much anywhere you're likely to go. If you do need a bus they're all right outside. Staff is absolutely wonderful. Cannot recommend this place highly enough.
