Swiss-Belboutique Napier converted a former PwC office building at the corner of Munroe and Raffles streets into the city's first internationally branded hotel, opening in December 2021 with 52 rooms under Swiss-Belhotel International.

The place
36 Munroe Street, on the corner of Munroe and Raffles streets in central Napier, within walking distance of the city's Art Deco core and Marine Parade.
The concept
The building served as PwC's Hawke's Bay office from 2007 before its owner converted it into Napier's first internationally branded hotel, opening in December 2021 under a management agreement with Swiss-Belhotel International. The 52-room property includes a bar and lounge, a fitness centre and 25 secure on-site car parks.
