Four Seasons Resort and Residences Telluride broke ground in October 2025 at the base of the Telluride gondola in Mountain Village, a roughly $1 billion project from Fort Partners and Merrimac Ventures targeting a 2028 opening. The 52-room hotel shares three connected buildings with 43 hotel residences and 26 private residences, designed by Olson Kundig with interiors by Clements Design.

The place
The base of the Telluride gondola in Mountain Village, next to Telluride Ski Resort, giving the resort direct ski-in/ski-out access alongside the same free public gondola that links Mountain Village to the historic town below.
The concept
Fort Partners and Merrimac Ventures broke ground on the roughly $1 billion project in October 2025, three connected buildings combining Four Seasons' first Colorado hotel with 43 hotel residences (one to four bedrooms, 821 to 5,514 square feet) and 26 private residences (two to five bedrooms, 2,064 to 6,445 square feet). Architecture firm Olson Kundig and interior designer Clements Design are building around floor-to-ceiling windows and natural materials to foreground the surrounding peaks — the area's first new luxury development in more than 15 years.
Dining & wellness
The resort plans two dining venues, a fitness center, a spa with a thermal lounge, cold plunge and eight treatment rooms, a lap pool and an outdoor hot tub.
