Casa Mani Resort Napa Valley, Curio Collection by Hilton

Casa Mani Resort Napa Valley, Curio Collection by Hilton opened in late April 2026 at 1075 California Boulevard. It replaces the Embassy Suites that had operated on the site, and Hilton calls it the city's first downtown urban resort. The resort has 203 rooms, a spa with a hydrothermal circuit, a Peloton fitness centre and BOA Steakhouse.

The place

The hotel sits on the footprint of the long-running Embassy Suites Napa Valley, which listings date to 1985.

The concept

Hilton took an existing hotel and changed what it is. The Embassy Suites that stood here was an all-suite hotel that listings date to 1985 and that had later been redesigned with meetings and events in mind. It went through a top-to-bottom redevelopment and reopened in April 2026 under the Curio Collection, Hilton's soft brand for independent-minded hotels. One report put the cost at about $80 million, a figure the company did not confirm in its release, and the owner has not been named in the coverage we found.

DyeLot Interiors led the redesign, which Hilton describes as a modern interpretation of Napa Valley hospitality. It has 203 rooms: 188 renovated guest rooms and 15 suites, three of them Presidential Suites. Rooms use teakwood accent walls and spa-style bathrooms with soaking tubs and rain showers, and signature rooms and suites have private patios with firepits. A sculptural piece called the Offering Tree stands in the lobby, where afternoon wine tastings are held.

One floor is set aside as a wellness wing, with spa-focused guest rooms and suites, a Peloton Spaces fitness centre and the Spa at Casa Mani, which has five treatment rooms, including a couples' suite, and a hydrothermal circuit with steam, sauna and a sensory shower. For groups there are more than 15,000 square feet of event space, with seven meeting rooms, two boardrooms and the Redwood Lawn, which Hilton says holds receptions of up to 200 people.

Dining & wellness

BOA Steakhouse is the headline. It comes from Innovative Dining Group, for which it is the first Napa Valley project and the sixth location, and Backen & Backen designed the room. When Hilton announced the hotel, the steakhouse was due to open a month later.

Creekside Terrace serves breakfast, lunch and brunch beside the pool. The Lobby Lounge handles cocktails and small plates, and The Marketplace sells local products.
