RiNo — the River North Art District — is Denver's former industrial corridor along Brighton Boulevard and Walnut Street, redeveloped since the 2010s into a dense cluster of galleries, murals, craft breweries and cocktail bars. Four hotels we track have opened here, starting with The Ramble Hotel in 2018, the first hotel to land in the neighborhood.

What to do in RiNo

For a weekend

Walk Larimer Street and Brighton Boulevard for RiNo's rotating street murals, then stop into one of the district's dozens of breweries and taprooms — the neighborhood has one of the highest concentrations in Denver. Death & Co, the acclaimed New York cocktail bar's first outpost outside Manhattan, operates inside The Ramble Hotel itself.

For a longer stay

With more time, RiNo's art walk on the First Friday of each month fills the district's galleries with openings and crowds, and The Source Market Hall — the food hall The Source Hotel sits above — is worth a full afternoon for its brewery, bakery and vendor stalls. LoDo and Coors Field are an easy 15-20 minute walk or short rideshare south.

Where to stay in RiNo

Walnut Street & 25th Street

The Ramble Hotel opened at 1280 25th Street in May 2018 as the first hotel in RiNo, its 50 rooms built around Death & Co's cocktail bar. Catbird Hotel followed at 3770 Walnut Street in July 2021, a modular new build with a full kitchen in every one of its 165 rooms.

Brighton Boulevard

AC Hotel Denver RiNo opened at 3680 Brighton Boulevard in June 2026, bringing Marriott's design-focused AC brand to the district after a construction timeline stretched out by the pandemic.

Above The Source Market Hall

The Source Hotel opened in September 2018 directly atop The Source Market Hall, a food hall built into a former 19th-century iron foundry, giving guests direct access to its restaurants, brewery and bakery.

Longer, apartment-style stays

Catbird Hotel's full-kitchen rooms are built for multi-night stays rather than a single overnight.

Food-first travelers

The Source Hotel sits directly above one of Denver's most complete food halls, with roughly six restaurants and vendors a flight of stairs from the room.
