The place

A 480-acre site in the canyon country near Kanab in southern Utah, within reach of Zion National Park, Bryce Canyon National Park, the Grand Canyon's North Rim and Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument.

The concept

IHG signed the project in January 2026 as part of the group's wider push to expand Six Senses across the Americas, developed with owner Canyon Global Partners and shaped by architecture and design studio Luxury Frontiers, which specializes in tented-camp resorts. The 41 pavilions and 12 branded residences are planned around the site's juniper forest and canyon views, following nature-centric, sustainability-led design principles rather than a conventional hotel building.

Dining & wellness

A Six Senses Spa anchors the wellness side; planned guest experiences include hiking on ancient trails, canyoneering and stargazing under what the developers describe as some of the darkest skies in the region.
