Rosewood Calistoga

Rosewood Hotel Group is set to open Rosewood Calistoga in January 2027, a 129-room resort on a 118-acre forested ridgeline above the town, at Napa Valley's northern end. Designed by Atelier Marsh around concepts from the late Ed Tuttle, the property pairs the hotel with a separate branded-residence community, Rosewood Residences Calistoga, of 20 villas and 13 home sites.

The place

The resort occupies a 118-acre forested ridgeline a short drive from downtown Calistoga, at the northern end of Napa Valley — a quieter, more rural setting than the valley's denser wine-country towns further south.

The concept

Rosewood Calistoga is designed by New York studio Atelier Marsh, working from concepts originally developed by the late architect Ed Tuttle. The 129-key hotel sits alongside a separate branded-residential component, Rosewood Residences Calistoga, made up of 20 private villas and 13 additional home sites — real-estate sales that fund part of the project but sit apart from the hotel operation itself. It's Rosewood's first Napa Valley property.

Dining & wellness

A farm-to-table restaurant and an intimate cocktail bar draw on produce from the property's own gardens as well as regional farms and wineries, complemented by a poolside eatery, cooking workshops and vineyard dinners. Wellness facilities include an Asaya spa with six treatment rooms, hydrotherapy, a fitness center, and separate adults-only and family pools.
