The concept Signed the same day as Crowne Plaza Newcastle (16 September 2026), as part of the same expanded IHG and Urban Property Group partnership, Hotel Indigo Gosford is the brand's first property on the Central Coast. It forms part of Urban's Waterfront precinct, planned with waterfront views, a neighbourhood café and bar, and a rooftop pool.
Dining & wellness A neighbourhood café and bar, plus a rooftop pool, are planned as part of the Waterfront precinct.
Our take The Central Coast has long sat in Sydney and Newcastle's shadow for branded hotel investment: a boutique-format Hotel Indigo in a purpose-built waterfront precinct is a genuine first for the area rather than an incremental addition.

We stayed at the Voco this past weekend in room 720.
Positives:
Beautiful hotel with a great selection of restaurants. The staff are well-presented, efficient and helpful. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet [with options for the chef to cook eggs and omelettes], our meal at Ironbark restaurant, and a drink in the Sports Bar. The parking garage has large car parks and is easy to manoeuvre a large 4WD in. The rooms are spacious, and beds are comfortable. The pool area is very nice, and would be great in the summer months when they open the pool bar.
Negatives
Our air conditioning thermostat was not working. We set it as low as 18, but it was still hot. We ended up having to open the window, and there were still drunk people in the streets at 2.30am, which made it hard to sleep. I mentioned this to staff when we were checking out, but no discount was offered.
The rooms are spacious, but practicality has been sacrificed in favour of aesthetics. The vanity did not have cupboards underneath, which I prefer, and the vanity top had a sink twice the size needed, which looks great, but takes up valuable vanity space. There was no bath, which I knew when I booked, but I do like a bath in a hotel room.
bed made from plastic... fridge was warm and had no cheese .. buffet breakfast needed more salmon.... no capers either,,,, no nachos on guest arrival. lobby was cold but had very nice indian tea, pong was amazing guest arrival ... room had very lovely soap and smelling of hong kong or kathmandu , I wish to

service manager wore a nice tye and very approachable
Today, we came to celebrate my mother’s 95th birthday.
My mother wanted a coffee, which was unusual because she often orders one but then forgets to drink it. While we were enjoying our meal at Archies, the barista, Fuka, brought her coffee to the table.
When my mother took her first sip, she said, “This coffee smells wonderful and tastes so smooth.” To our surprise, she drank the entire cup.
It has been many years since we have seen her enjoy a coffee so much. As you can imagine, at 95 years old, finding food and drinks that she truly enjoys is not always easy. But Fuka’s coffee made her genuinely happy.
Because of her reaction, we ordered more coffees for other family members at the table, including relatives who had travelled from Port Macquarie to celebrate with us. Everyone agreed that the coffee was aromatic, delicious, and beautifully made.
Thank you, Fuka. A cup of coffee may seem like a small thing, but it brought great joy to our 95-year-old mother and made her birthday celebration even more special. We are very grateful.
We had a lovely day with friends @ Ironbark restaurant. It had comfortable chairs and the service was friendly and very relax but professional from Dazza. The food is amazing ,the meat so tender and very tasty, with large portions. The prices are what you would expect. Don't be surprised when on ordering and paying that you are asked for a tip payment, something new that we haven't experienced before.
After lunch we travelled up to level 28 to Astra and finished off our day with a cocktail and amazing views of Brisbane Water, all done with impeccable friendly service.
This was our first time visiting voco Gosford and it absolutely exceeded expectations. The room was insanely big with plenty of space to relax. Honestly, the breakfast was really good—actually
better than the Crown in Sydney, which says a lot!
Check-in was an absolute breeze, and the staff were incredibly welcoming the moment we arrived. Pro tip: if you use Black Pass by FSC, you can score an insanely good discount on your stay. Will definitely be back!
