Hilton is set to debut in Palm Cove with a fully refurbished 140-room beachside resort, its third property in Far North Queensland after two hotels in nearby Cairns. Developed with owner Hotel & Tyche Investments and operator Tyche Asset Management, the resort's opening has moved from an initial Q1 2026 target to October 2026.

The place
The resort sits in the heart of Palm Cove, a beachfront village about 25 minutes north of Cairns and roughly 40 minutes south of Port Douglas, on Queensland's Tropical North coast.
The concept
A full refurbishment of an existing beachside property marks Hilton's debut in Palm Cove and its third hotel in Far North Queensland, alongside Hilton Cairns and DoubleTree by Hilton Cairns. The 140-room resort is being developed by owner Diana Ren's Hotel & Tyche Investments under a management agreement with Tyche Asset Management.
Dining & wellness
Plans include two dining outlets — one an all-day restaurant — two bars including a pool bar, an outdoor pool, a kids' club, a fitness centre and a spa, alongside 450 square metres of function space.
