The place

At 525 North Fort Lauderdale Beach Boulevard, directly on the beach, about 45 minutes north of Miami and 45 minutes south of Palm Beach, according to Four Seasons. The group counts three international airports within reach.

Guests have a private section of beach with a beach concierge and a station of beach toys, reserved for hotel guests.

The concept

Kobi Karp designed the building: 22 stories with a curved silhouette that the group describes as yacht-inspired, and about a third of the site left as green space. Fernando Wong did the landscape. The tower holds 189 units in total, split between 129 rooms, 19 suites and 41 hotel residences.

Two designers share the interiors. Tara Bernerd did the public spaces, rooms and suites. Martin Brudnizki did the restaurants, the lounges and the pool area. Opening dates moved around: a Miami Living piece in October 2021 expected December of that year, while Four Seasons' own press page now gives March 2022.

The spa has six treatment rooms and lounges with salt saunas, aroma steam baths and ice fountains, and the hotel says it holds Forbes Five-Star status for 2025 and 2026. The 2,250-square-foot fitness center, designed with Harley Pasternak, is open around the clock. Two pools face the sea: the Sun Deck Pool at 74 feet and the Serenity Pool at 57. Events fit in 12,800 square feet, headed by the 4,100-square-foot Mabel Ballroom and the 2,625-square-foot Terramar Ballroom, both divisible, plus an oceanfront covered terrace.

Dining & wellness

Evelyn's is the signature restaurant, Eastern Mediterranean by way of the coast, led by chef Brandon Salomon. The hotel reports Michelin recognition for 2025 and 2026 and a Wine Spectator Award of Excellence for the same years.

MAASS by Ryan Ratino cooks contemporary American food over an open-fire hearth, and its Chef's Counter Experience holds one Michelin star in the 2025 and 2026 listings, again per the hotel. Honey Fitz is the lobby café, open all day. ViceVersa is a residency of the Miami aperitivo bar that takes over the lobby bar each evening. In-room dining runs 24 hours.
