I had a fantastic stay at The Ritz-Carlton Rabat. The rooms and overall property were truly impressive, beautifully designed, modern, and impeccably clean. Everything felt well thought through and maintained to a very high standard.
What really stood out, however, was the staff. Everyone was warm, attentive, and genuinely committed to providing a great experience.
A special mention to Hicham at breakfast, who was outstanding - professional, friendly, and clearly takes pride in his work. His level of service did not go unnoticed and is a real credit to the hotel.
Also, thank you to Husnae at reception for her helpful and welcoming approach, and Abdul, who provided excellent service as a waiter.
Overall, a wonderful stay and I would highly recommend this hotel.
We had the pleasure of spending four wonderful days at The Ritz-Carlton Rabat with my parents, and it was an unforgettable experience from beginning to end.
The hotel is absolutely beautiful, the food was outstanding throughout our stay, and the breakfast was truly exceptional, with an incredible selection and high quality.
What made our stay so special, however, was the extraordinary kindness of the staff. Every single person we met went above and beyond to make us feel welcome.
A very special thank you to Zaher, who welcomed us from the moment we arrived. He is, without a doubt, one of the kindest, warmest, and most professional people we have ever met in hospitality. His genuine care and constant smile made us feel at home throughout our stay. He truly embodies the level of service and excellence that The Ritz-Carlton is known for, and he made our experience even more memorable! ❤️
Thank you to the entire team for such a wonderful stay. We are already looking forward to coming back!
The building is nice. Not there’s but it’s nice. They try but it’s not an American hotel, despite the name. Sinks don’t drain, you need to have maintenance come to set the AC so it works. If you order room service, you will wait an hour to call again only to get no answer and then MAYBE 30 minutes after that you will get a call with someone telling you your order is on the way. For something as simple as a bucket of ice and some drinks. The best part is that if you ask for a ride to the airport, and pay for it, they will take you to the wrong airport and half way through the ride, THE HOTEL will call back and ask for more money to pay for the ride again. After paying for it already. They call the driver and make you pay more for a ride you did not want or ask for. Absolutely not any type of Marriott brand, never mind a Ritz. Would not recommend. They only get 2 stars because the property looks nice, not that they built it.
I recently visited The Ritz-Carlton Rabat with a friend, expecting the high level of hospitality associated with this brand. Unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing.
We first sat in the lobby to have a coffee. We were told that we could not simply order coffee and that we were required to order the Tea Time menu. As far as I could see, this requirement was not clearly stated on the hotel’s website, and the Tea Time hours listed online did not match the time of our visit.
We therefore moved to another area of the hotel. Shortly after sitting down, a waiter approached us and asked, “Are you residents or visitors?” in a manner that felt abrupt and unwelcoming. When we replied that we were visitors, he immediately told us that we could not sit there because the area was reserved for hotel guests. While I understand that hotels may have designated areas for residents, the way this was communicated lacked courtesy and professionalism.
We then went to the bar. We asked if we could have coffee, and the waiter told us that we had to order a dessert as well. We agreed and selected one dessert, but he then informed us that we actually had to order two desserts. Again, this requirement was not mentioned on the menu or communicated beforehand. It felt like new conditions were being introduced only after we had already been seated.
Throughout our visit, the service did not reflect the standards I would expect from a Ritz-Carlton. The staff’s attitude often felt dismissive rather than welcoming, and we left with the impression that we were being discouraged from staying instead of being treated as valued guests.
I fully respect that hotels can have their own policies regarding seating or minimum orders. My concern is not the policies themselves, but the lack of transparency and the way they were communicated. A luxury hotel should make every guest—whether staying overnight or simply visiting for coffee—feel welcome and treated with respect.
Unfortunately, this experience fell well below my expectations.
Without a doubt, this is my favorite hotel in Rabat, and every single time I visit the city, this is the only place I choose to stay. I’ve been here several times, and each visit reminds me why I keep coming back. The hotel is ravishing but the level of hospitality is simply outstanding.
Every single person working at this hotel is exceptional. From the reception and Guest Relations team to the breakfast and restaurant staff, housekeeping, and everyone behind the scenes, every member of the team is amazing, welcoming, kind, professional, and genuinely passionate about what they do. They don’t just provide excellent service they make you feel truly valued and cared for. Their attention to detail, warmth, and dedication create an experience that is second to none.
I would like to express my deepest gratitude to Mr Ayman El Manna and Mr El Mehdi Mofid from the Guest Relations team. At the beginning of my stay, there was a small issue that concerned me. Instead of simply resolving it, they took ownership of the situation with genuine care, kindness, and professionalism. They listened, understood exactly how I felt, and went far above and beyond anything I could have expected. They completely turned my experience around and made me feel like a truly valued guest. Their dedication, generosity, and commitment to excellence are remarkable, and they are a true credit to this hotel.
To every single member of the team, thank you. Your smiles, your kindness, your professionalism, and the pride you take in your work made this one of the most memorable hotel stays I’ve ever had. It’s rare to find a hotel where every single employee consistently exceeds expectations, but that’s exactly what you have created here.
Thank you for another unforgettable stay. You have earned not only my loyalty but also my highest recommendation. I will continue coming back every time I’m in Rabat, and I cannot imagine staying anywhere else. You have truly set the gold standard for hospitality.
