We had a wonderful 11-day stay at this hotel, and everything exceeded our expectations. The rooms were comfortable, the facilities were excellent, the food at the restaurant was delicious, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming.
What truly made our stay unforgettable, though, was the staff. Their kindness, attentiveness, and genuine care made us feel at home throughout our entire stay. A special thank you to Dubiney, Jandy and Cecilia, from the restaurant team, for making our experience even more special. Their smiles and exceptional service will be the part of this hotel that we remember the most.
We are truly grateful for their hospitality and hope to return someday!
We stayed at the Hilton and booked through Amex Travel. We were disappointed with some of the Amex benefits not being applied to our stay — namely, no early check in and no late check out. When we arrived no one assisted with our baggage and there was no drink or food service occurring at the pool (on a Friday afternoon) while we waited for our room to be available. This is not a resort style place to stay, it is more suitable for business travel or travel where you intend to spend more time out of the hotel. Be warned that upon arrival they ask you to write down your Hilton number if you have not done so, but if it does not match the name on the Amex you jeopardize the application of your Amex benefits being applied. On the plus side, the brunch was good quality. The pool was heated. Our room view was fantastic. The bartender (who worked both downstairs and at the pool bar) was wonderful and welcoming the entire weekend. Location is great. The hotel is directly connected to a massive mall with a movie theater, higher end stores, grocery store, and food court. Ideal for families, as there are many fun child centered entertainment options. I wish our customer service experience upon arrival had been better, it was more expensive than I would’ve preferred for the experience we received ($USD600/night for our stay) Of note, you will have issues with Uber as the uber location is incorrect and routes cars to the entrance of the mall and not the Hilton lobby.
I absolutely enjoyed my stay at this elegant hotel and appreciated the amazing service from all staff that I interacted with. My room was nicely laid out and clean, and I was glad that the heater kicked in quickly to warm up the room since I had arrived on a rather cold day. The lobby restaurant and bar were conveniently located with a good variety of items which I found useful during my stay.
Staff (specifically night shift, Socrates) is rude and disrespectful. They have a superiority complex. DONT STAY HERE UNLESS TOU WANT TO BE HARASSED BY MANAGEMENT AND SECURITY. As a 15 year Hilton diamond member this has been the WORST experience. They will lie, make up rules that don’t exist and then threaten to call the police. Avoid at all costs. We have stayed at this Hilton more times than I could even remember. We have been coming here for over 10 years as our family lives in Monterey and we visit often. We arrived late that evening, after going out with friends, and brought some food to enjoy in the lobby before we went up to our room. We were then harassed by security and informed that we’re not allowed to eat food in the lobby, that it’s not possible because they have a restaurant and security said so. When I asked if they could open the restaurant and cook their food so we could actually eat something before we go to bed, They said that’s not possible either. So not only can we not eat the food that we bought after a long day out when we were starving, but they refused to cook us food that evening, and then threaten to call the police on us if we did not leave. It took them longer to harass us About eating food than it would have taken us to eat the food and have gone to bed. This is absolutely ridiculous. Socrates should never work work in Customer Service or be a member of the Hilton staff. This was completely uncalled for, rude, disrespectful, and quite frankly judgmental behavior.
Tara & Carlos Contreras · 1/5 What a perfect stay. The room was clean, quiet, spacious and comfortable. We especially loved the clean heated swimming pool and jacuzzi which we practically had to ourselves over two days. Our daughter loved both. There is also a very good gym and breakfast buffet. The staff were very nice.
