Das Konzept Ultima Hotel Gstaad besteht aus drei miteinander verbundenen Holzchalets und vereint als hybrides Format elf großzügige Suiten mit sechs privaten Residenzen unter einem Dach: anders als die Schwesteradresse Ultima Geneva Quai Wilson, die als reines Serviced-Apartment-Haus ohne klassische Hotelinfrastruktur betrieben wird, verfügt Gstaad über Rezeption, Restaurant und Spa und funktioniert damit als klassisches Boutique-Hotel. Das Haus öffnete 2017 und pflegt bewusst die Optik eines rustikalen Schweizer Chalet-Dorfs, kombiniert mit zeitgenössischem Luxus: Kamin-Lounges, Terrassen mit Bergblick und Marmorbädern in den Suiten.
Gastronomie & Wellness Das Restaurant setzt auf japanisch inspirierte Küche mit Live-Cooking am offenen Feuer, ergänzt durch eine Bar im Stil der 1920er-Jahre mit Cocktail- und Weinkarte. Unsere Einschätzung Das hybride Format aus buchbaren Suiten und privaten Residenzen ist für Gstaad ein cleverer Kompromiss zwischen Hotelbetrieb und Ferienimmobilie, bedeutet aber vermutlich auch, dass ein Teil des Hauses dem öffentlichen Gast schlicht nicht zur Verfügung steht: ein Punkt, den man vor der Buchung klären sollte. Elf Suiten sind für ein Haus mit vollständiger Spa- und Restaurant-Infrastruktur eine sehr kleine Basis, was auf ein entsprechend hohes Preisniveau schließen lässt.

I stayed here for skiing and to celebrate New Year's Eve. It was a truly impressive experience. Starting with the delicious and healthy breakfast, including the Zuma restaurant where my family and I had New Year's Eve dinner – the decor was beautiful and the food was excellent. The accommodation was cozy with two bedrooms, perfect for my family to relax together. Each room had a balcony with stunning mountain and chalet views. There was an electric fireplace with a remote control, so there was no smoke smell. It was close to the ski slopes, and had warm, convenient storage for our equipment. The staff were very attentive, and there was a shuttle service for skiing, shopping, and dining. After skiing, we enjoyed the spa with its relaxing massages. There was an indoor heated jacuzzi and a hot tub to soak in the cool outdoor air – it was incredibly relaxing. The staff, especially Ludmila, were all very attentive. In short, I loved this place and would definitely return next year.

The hotel is truly beautiful and modern, with large and spacious rooms. It feels very intimate and peaceful, giving you a real sense of being at home.
The service is next level – the staff are incredibly kind, attentive, and always ready to help with anything you need.
The food was outstanding, and they took great care to provide gluten-free options for me, which I really appreciated.
My partner was celebrating his birthday, and they surprised us with a cake and balloons – such a thoughtful and lovely gesture.

Went for ski holiday. Has two ski lifts very close to the hotel - Eggli and Wispile. Staff are extremely nice and accommodating, got there a little early and they offered to set up a room service table as our room wasn’t ready, and gave us a tour of the hotel. Little bit of a small hotel but made it feel all the more homely. Stayed in a 3 bedroom apartment type chalet that was simply stunning. Our room also had a caviar fridge which I thought was a little weird but made it stand out. Good location about 15 minutes walk away from the main centre of Gstaad, but hotel offers complimentary taxi service to pretty much anywhere in Gstaad. Would definitely return. Zuma pop up also had some delicious food, unfortunately the staff did forget about a birthday request but it didn’t bother me at all, as they made it up with some delightful chocolates from EarlyBeck, which again just goes to show how thoughtful everyone there is. Would also like to give some props to one of the staff, I’ve unfortunately forgotten his name but he was brunette and quite tall. Helped accommodate me and my family with everything we needed, thank you very much
