Le concept L'hôtel occupe un hôtel particulier ancien du centre-ville, décrit par son exploitant comme un palais urbain dont l'architecture néogothique évoque le commerce international ; selon la presse, ce bâtiment fut une résidence privée puis un siège de banque. Les sources divergent sur sa date de construction (du XVIe au XIXe siècle), si bien que nous ne la retenons pas. Les chambres portent des noms de pierres (Emerald, Ruby, Sapphire, Diamond) en clin d'œil au passé diamantaire d'Anvers, avec pour certaines des cheminées anciennes et de hauts plafonds.
Restauration et bien-être Sapphire Bistro & Patio, un bar à cocktails dans le lobby et une salle de sport ouverte 24 heures sur 24.
Notre avis Le thème des pierres précieuses est cohérent avec l'histoire diamantaire d'Anvers sans tomber dans le gadget, et l'adresse, à côté de la Handelsbeurs, est difficile à battre pour explorer la ville à pied. Reste que les sources publiques disent peu de choses précises sur l'histoire du bâtiment et sur le mois d'ouverture : nous préférons ne rien affirmer que nous n'avons pu recouper.

We couldn’t have asked for a better venue for our wedding reception. From the moment we arrived until we checked out the next day, everything was exceptional. We also stayed overnight, along with family and friends, and every aspect of our stay exceeded our expectations.
The event manager (Alexandra) was outstanding and ensured the entire day ran smoothly from start to finish. The professionalism and attention to detail meant we could relax and truly enjoy our special day without worrying about a thing.
A special thank you to the General Manager, who went above and beyond to make sure we were well looked after throughout our stay. The entire staff were warm, friendly, and always happy to help, making both us and our guests feel incredibly welcome.
The rooms were beautiful, spotless, and very comfortable. The food served during the reception was absolutely delicious, and the kitchen staff did a fantastic job. The following morning, breakfast offered a wide variety of fresh and tasty options, providing the perfect end to an unforgettable celebration.

Our stay at the Sapphire House, Autograph Collection in Antwerp was exceptional from beginning to end. The hotel is perfectly located, making it easy to explore many of Antwerp’s main attractions on foot.
The rooms are beautiful, comfortable, and well-appointed, and the level of service throughout our stay was outstanding. Upon check-in, we encountered an issue with our room, but the staff handled it flawlessly. Without any hesitation, they immediately moved us to another room and ensured everything was taken care of.
A special thank you to Sijne and Vincent, whose attentiveness, professionalism, and genuine hospitality made our stay truly memorable. They went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and helped create a magical experience that exceeded our expectations.

A beautiful hotel central to everything, but the reason I am writing this review is Gonzo. He went out of his way several times to ensure my wife and I had such a wonderful experience. Our welcoming was top notch, recommendations, chit chat, and a walk to our elevator (a very helpful/nice touch), throughout our stay he was always so friendly and remembered us and even our room! He truly went above and beyond one night when we came home late and wanted dessert. He got us our complimentary chocolates and he somehow convinced the chef to make us the dessert even at the late hour. He then personally delivered it to our room! Exceptional! I’ve always loved my Marriott stays, but I’m happy to now include the signature collection and especially Sapphire House in that list. Thank you Gonzo!
Amazing location and beautiful rooms! I was a bit confused by some of the mixed reviews, but I had an incredible experience. The room was beautiful, clean, and comfortable, and the location couldn’t have been better—right in the heart of the Old City, making it easy to explore everything on foot. The hotel also has a charming courtyard that was the perfect spot to enjoy a glass of wine or an Aperol Spritz before heading out to dinner. I would absolutely stay here again.
I have stayed in countless hotels over the years, but nothing has come close to the experience we had at the Sapphire House Hotel in Antwerp. We were lucky enough to call this place home for five full weeks, and I can say with complete confidence that the staff here is in a league entirely of their own!
From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and genuine care that felt more like family than hospitality. The manager deserves a special standing ovation! His presence was felt throughout our stay. Always visible, always approachable, always going above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. It's clear that the incredible culture of this team starts right at the top.
Every member of staff, from the front desk team to housekeeping, to anyone we crossed paths with in the corridors, radiated kindness and professionalism. No request was too big, no question too small. They remembered our names, our preferences, and the little details that made our extended stay feel truly personal. In five weeks, there was not a single moment when we felt like just another guest.
