The place
Mackenzie Tower rises at 10145 - 104 Street in Edmonton's warehouse district, a once-industrial pocket of downtown now filling with mixed-use towers.
The concept
Germain Hotels' loft-style Alt+ concept — compact studio rooms with kitchenettes and flexible work-and-sleep layouts — makes its second Canadian appearance here, sharing a 34-storey, LemayMichaud-designed tower with 136 residential units. It targets long-stay professionals and design-minded travelers who want hotel service without hotel-sized rooms.
Dining & wellness
A double-height restaurant fronts the street at ground level, alongside the brand's signature lobby bar; further dining details are still to come.
