⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Highly recommend staying at Moxy Sion. The rooms are spacious, beautiful, and very comfortable — perfect for relaxing after a long journey. The reception staff were friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout the stay.
The location is very convenient, with a Migros grocery store and a petrol station just across from the hotel. There is also parking available for both buses and cars, making it a great choice for tour groups, families, or travellers with vehicles.
Overall, it was a very pleasant stay with excellent comfort and convenience. Would definitely stay here again when visiting Sion! 😊
The concept is nice and modern from an aesthetic point of view. The rooms are functional. Breakfast is up to standard. There are however some drawbacks. The air conditioning is substandard. Probably a heat pump system which underperforms both during summer (from what I read in other reviews) and during winter (personal experience). The room stayed too cold and with the main control switched to off, it was still pumping cool air into the room. The shower heads are some kind of ecological water saving type which basically mixes al lot of cold air from the room with a very small amount of water which, even at high water temperatures, results in an unpleasant experience. Finally, putting the coffee machine in a corner is far from ideal and an additional one would be a minimum.
Stayed here on Feb. 25th - 27th with my group tour. I LOVED the croissants, their breakfasts were simple but top notch. And the view to the mountains while having your meals is incredible. I didn’t know it was a part of Marriott? Which is cool. Good service from the staff, friendly and helpful. Room is great, unfortunately didn’t take pictures of it but definitely will stay here again
One star is too generous for this hotel.
We came as a group to stay for one night, and they told us to have breakfast between 6.30 to 7.30 since there’s other groups and the breakfast area will be packed which we totally understand.
However, the staff's unpleasant and unfriendly attitude toward us is the issue. They informed us that we couldn't eat breakfast until everyone in our group had assembled and the tour guide had arrived. Last night, they didn't tell us anything like that. They rudely informed us that we were running late for breakfast and would not allow us to enter until the entire group had arrived.
There is really bad administration and a lack of clear information. I'm quite disappointed because of the staff's attitude. I expected this to be a nice hotel, but the attitude toward the guests is simply unacceptable. It appears that we are not the only ones who have experienced this. I read the evaluations, and several people reported similar experiences over a year ago. Where is the improvement? Cleary racist, very hostile towards Asians. You in fact did not take notes and fix your management.
I recently stayed at Moxy Sion with a group, and we had a great experience. A special thanks to Pedro, who was extremely helpful and attentive throughout our stay. He made sure everything was well organized, that the group was taken care of, which made a big difference for us.
It’s always the people who make a place stand out, and Pedro definitely did that. Thank you for the excellent service!
