Le concept L'Hôtel D Bulle, ouvert en août 2022, est une construction neuve de 68 chambres et junior suites classée 4 étoiles, seul hôtel situé au cœur du nouveau quartier du Velâdzo, autour de la gare de Bulle entièrement rénovée. C'est la première implantation en Suisse romande de l'enseigne Diana Hôtels Collection, groupe franco-suisse d'une quinzaine d'établissements. La décoration, signée par le bureau d'architecture genevois Deer Home, joue sur des teintes bleues et vertes inspirées des lacs et montagnes de la région, avec un mobilier aux lignes rétro-chic. L'établissement dispose d'un bar, d'un espace coworking et d'un parking souterrain, et emploie environ 15 personnes.

Notre avis L'ouverture de l'Hôtel D en 2022 puis l'annonce de l'AC Hotel by Marriott à quelques centaines de mètres pour 2026 dessinent une vraie dynamique hôtelière autour de la gare rénovée de Bulle : une ville moyenne de Gruyère qui gagne coup sur coup deux établissements neufs de milieu-haut de gamme, plutôt rare pour une agglomération de cette taille en Suisse romande. Les deux adresses restent toutefois à bien distinguer : une confusion facile vu leur proximité géographique et leur positionnement comparable.

A stylish, modern and very comfortable hotel in Bulle. Right next to the train station.
The design has a slightly London-inspired feel, and everything still feels fresh and well maintained. Our room was spacious, clean and quiet, with a genuinely comfortable bed. After a hot and rather sleepless night elsewhere, it was exactly what we needed.
The reception experience had some personality (Grazie Antonio) and the team ultimately made us feel welcome. Breakfast was also very good. They also had Gluten-Free ‘good’ bread.
A strong option for anyone looking for a modern and reliable base in Bulle. Super price friendly and next to bike rental.
We stayed one night at Hotel D in Bulle and it was an absolute highlight of our trip. From the very beginning, the communication via WhatsApp was outstanding — clear, friendly, and extremely helpful. The detailed parking instructions and pre-arrival guidance made everything smooth and stress-free.
The room itself was a wonderful surprise: very spacious, modern, and finished to a high standard with excellent quality throughout. We felt truly comfortable and relaxed. The breakfast was also fantastic — fresh, varied, and a great way to start the day.
Overall, we had an amazing stay and would highly recommend Hotel D to anyone visiting the area. Exceptional service and great value. Thank you!
Our stay here was excellent. The staff were absolutely fantastic from the beginning of our stay until the end. Staff at reception were very helpful.
The rooms themselves are very nice and comfortable. The bathroom was clean and the hygiene products provided were lovely. Our room had a lovely view of the town and surrounding countryside.
Breakfast was slightly lacking, maybe just due to the lack of guests at the time of our stay but the selection was not very large.
The location is exquisite for travellers, it is right beside the train station, located just beside a small shopping centre with a cafe, lunch spots, a pharmacy and a supermarket.
There is some construction at the moment so it was a little noisy above our room in the morning which we didn't mind as we were busy during the day.
Stayed here recently and had a wonderful experience. The hotel feels quite new, modern, and very well maintained. Also, the staff were friendly and welcoming.
The real highlight, however, was the exceptional quality of sleep. The bed was incredibly comfortable, with high-quality pillows and bed sheets that felt luxurious. Honestly, one of the best beds I’ve ever slept on! It made it extremely difficult to get up in the morning… or should I say the afternoon. Highly recommended for anyone who values comfort and a great night’s sleep.
Beautiful Hotel.
The rooms (and the whole hotel) is designed very beautifully.
There is only a little critic about the bathroom that I have:
- the towls have no hanger to hang them on the hooks properly.
- the bathroom has a window to the bed, which has frosted glass, but still the light comes thru. So if you have to use the bathroom in the night, your partner might unfortunately wake up, because of the turned on bathroom light...
- but worst thing: the toilett and cistern dont match, so the flush will sprinkle over the toilett seat, which should absolutely not happen.
And one about parking/charging electric car:
- you need the swisscharge app to charge your car, but you cant connect to internet in the garage... so this will not work, or you need to pay higher price, when starting the charging thru a charging card...
otherwise the service is super and the location is great.
