We were one of the first at the hotel after its grand opening (20 july 2026).
Reception was very helpful and quick to respond to our requests during our stay!
Went to the bar for a few drinks, our bar host Wilfredo guided us nicely through the menu, and we got a few round of beers and snacks for a nice price.
Overall pleasant stay, rooms were well sound isolated, trendy and clean, good parking facilities under the hotel and staff was professional and polite.
The service is super friendly and smiling face.
The hotel environment is amazing and all facilities are clean.
But the hotel is not fully finished yet, as laundry room is not available and there are small construction in many room(but quiet)
The big issue for me is there is the air con system, but I could not adjust it.
The air vent in the bedroom is quite small, so the room gets very warm even with the window open. However, the other areas are comfortable because they have larger air vents and stay nice and cool.
pchyp vander woodsen · 4/5 Top service by the bartender Willfredo, defently coming back as a local.
The hotel is brand new and had only been open for about five weeks when we stayed there.
Check-in was quick and easy. The receptionist who initially welcomed us had not yet been trained for check-in, but quickly asked a colleague for assistance, so we were checked in without any delay.
The room was clean and perfectly sufficient for two people staying for two nights. Personally, I dislike the trend in newer hotels of not providing a proper wardrobe or cabinet for clothes, but that is a matter of personal preference and unfortunately seems to be quite common in modern hotels.
The shower, washbasin and toilet are all separate. The shower itself is spacious and equipped with both a rain shower and a handheld shower. Both worked well, although the handheld shower cannot be adjusted in height, which feels a little unusual. An adjustable holder would be a useful improvement.
Beds were comfortable, but not at the same standard as in other Hyatt categories (e.g Hyatt Place, Regency or Grand Hyatt), which should be noted when booking this category.
There is a capsule coffee machine in the room, which worked well. It would be nice, however, to provide more than just two capsules when two people are staying for two nights. This is particularly relevant if guests choose not to have their room cleaned after the first night in order to support the hotel’s sustainability efforts and reduce the workload for housekeeping, as the capsules are then not replenished.
The bar area is very spacious, including outdoor seating and a billiard table. We also noticed a DJ setup, so it seems that there may be music or events from time to time. During our stay, the atmosphere was calm and pleasant, and the service at the bar was very good. We did not have breakfast, but from what we saw, it looked like a fairly standard hotel breakfast.
The hotel offers underground parking. We found plenty of available spaces, although I could imagine parking becoming more difficult when the hotel is fully booked. Clearer signage outside indicating the entrance to the garage would also be helpful. The garage door was always closed during our stay, and we had to ring the bell each time to have it opened. This was not really a problem, as someone always responded promptly. However, the bell is positioned in such a way that you have to get out of the car to reach it, which is a little cumbersome.
Checkout was quick and easy as well. Due to our membership status with Hyatt Group we were granted a late check-out, which was highly appreciated.
The location is very convenient, right in the center of Leipzig. Both the main railway station and the city center are within easy walking distance.
A particular positive was the staff. Everyone we encountered was exceptionally friendly and helpful. All staff members made an effort to speak German, although some preferred to switch to English during the conversation.
A nice personal touch was the handwritten welcome note in our room acknowledging our Discoverist status with World of Hyatt. Small gestures like this make a stay feel more welcoming and were much appreciated.
Overall, a very pleasant stay and definitely recommendable for a short visit to Leipzig or the surrounding area. Considering that the hotel had only been open for five weeks, everything already worked remarkably well, and the few points mentioned above are relatively minor improvements.
S C H R O E D E F I X · 5/5 Fun hotel! colorful design, the staff were all very friendly. breakfast is good. you can leave your things after checkout for a few hours, large seating area where you can use the toilet and charge your phone etc. Has a gym and sauna (though they were being repaired when we stayed).
